Corporate Photographer Case Study – JDRF Charity
“We have been working with Tom for more than 2 years and he is always reliable, professional and enthusiastic at the events he covers for JDRF. Tom is able to create an interesting image out of all sorts of situations. Last year we held an outdoor charity event in torrential rain and Tom’s images were so good they made the front cover of our promotional leaflets surpassing other images taken at events in the sun. The use we get out of his images is a testament to his dedication and eye for a great photo!”- Hannah Gripton, Regional Fundraising Coordinator
The photography we have done for the JDRF splits into mostly two different aspects of corporate photography.
Conference photography at events, with speakers and experts presenting information, there are normally representations from sponsors and companies with their own stalls that are photographed.
Then there are fundraising event photography which are much more dynamic and culminate in a sponsored walk at Drayton Manor – with lots of entertainment and activities that need to be photographed. These also include charity balls for companies that have decided to donate to the JDRF as their main charity.
The brief has always been to produce photos that sell and promote the JDRF as well as promoting branding their key messages. well and work straight out of the box as promotional material.
This involves showing events to be very well attended by happy cheerful and enthusiastic attendees – as well as taking every opportunity to include branding material and logos in shots.
We gather lots of candid and reportage shots of the events, this ensures natural and realistic looking photos – lending integrity to the image. There’s nothing worse than very forced and unnatural poses
Photos are supplied with a fast turn around – and we even select the best ones for you and provide a full edit on them, so they are ready to be used straight away. We also distribute copies to relevant departments (ie Marketing, PR and Press Relations)
